Dear Owners and Staff of Galata Antique Hotel, I want to thank you, one and all, for my wonderful month as a guest of the Galata Antique. As an architect and avid traveler, I have had many hospitality experiences around the globe and will always remember the month that I stayed with you in Istanbul. I always looked forward to the delicious fresh Turkish breakfasts on the rooftop terrace, shared with other guests and the resident seagulls (kuşlar). The views over the Golden Horn were a great start to any day. Likewise, evenings having a drink at the rooftop bar were a beautiful way to end the day. The hotel staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. I always felt comfortable and well taken care of. My room had dreamy views over the city as it shared the lively creative culture of the Tünel area. The hotel was undergoing renovation during my stay and I appreciated that as soon as a very special guest suite was completed, this was offered to me. I enjoyed my last few days in this modern, yet traditional spacious accommodation. The beautifully appointed room with wonderful views even from the luxurious bathroom completed a wonderful memory for my monthin Istanbul. I want to thank the ownership and staff for a very memorable travel experience. I recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to fall in love with Istanbul.
